FirstAmEdu - Policies and Procedures

All class fees are non-refundable unless 1) The class is cancelled; or 2) Student gives at least 24 hours advance notice if unable to attend.

To complete your course and receive continuing education credit you must complete the registration form (including your signature), attend the entire class, and pay the tuition before the class begins. Auditing a course requires prior Administrator approval. Anyone attending a course must pay the required fee.

All courses are open to all persons whether or not they are licensed. First American will not deny admission, base course fees, or base standards for successful completion of a course on a student's race, color, sex, religion, national origin, handicap, familial status, age, or sexual orientation. This school of real estate will operate in compliance with all local, state and federal anti-discrimination laws.

Notification to First American Title of any and all types of personal needs involving physical, emotional, and learning difficulties and/or needs related to the Americans with Disabilities Act is the sole responsibility of the student. While all reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate individual needs, it is conceivable that some conditions and circumstances are beyond our control.

A First American instructor, administrator, or a consultant hired on behalf of First American may preclude or dismiss a student from the classroom if a student may affect or is affecting the integrity of the learning environment. Conditions for readmission are based on the mutual agreement of the instructor, student and the school administrator.

If the class location is closed, plans on opening late, or closes early, we will change plans accordingly. Please check the class schedule for updates, or phone 253-606-6606. In the event of a closure, we will notify students via telephone. No refunds are given due to inclement weather or natural disasters unless the class is cancelled.

Students may receive a workbook, handouts, and other materials as a part of the course. Unless otherwise stated, the course materials are the property of First American Title and are not to be reprinted or distributed without permission.

Certificates of completion will be available to the student on this website within 30 days of the class completion. Students will be required to sign in at the beginning of class and sign out at the end of class. First American will maintain student attendance records for 5 years as required by the state. If a student leaves class early, arrives late, or leaves the classroom for an extended period of time, he or she will not receive a certificate of completion.
